How Internet Works?

Internet is a distributed pocket switched network which distributed world wide via optic fiber cables. Those connected the countries by going under the sea.
IS ANYONE INCHARGE OF THE INTERNET?
No one is operating the internet. It is an independently operated network.
Internet send the information in binary system means it send either 1 or 0. Since for a song it take 3 to 4 megabytes.
All the different devices on the internet have unique addresses .An address on the internet is just a number. It is known as IP (Internet Protocol) address .Traditional  IP addresses are 8 bit long (i.e.  174.129.13.152) this IP address known as IPv4 designed in 1973 and adopted in 1980’s. Provides more than 4billion unique addresses .Now days which are not enough so we used IPv6 which contains 128 bit per address .The internet is a design philosophy and an architecture expressed in asset of protocols. Protocol is a well known set of rules and standards used to communicate between machines.
HOW DATA ARE SEDND TO THE DEVICE?

Data are sent as packets.  Many kinds of digital information can be sent with IP packets. If we want to download any image which is too much for a single packet then it will divide into few packets these packets will be filled with binary codes (i.e. 0 and 1) packets do not have drivers and do not choose routes. Each packet has the address where it is came from and where it is going. Routes behave like traffic manager. Then first songs will be divided into different packets and there have TCP (Transmission control protocol) which manages the sending and receiving of all your data as packets are received by the device then TCP sensing that all packets are received and it will be signed.  Which means download is complete . This is the basic of internet working.

SEARCH OPERATION:
When any search operation occur there have DNS or domain name system the computer search for the particular IP address and send to the computer then we reached to that website. A single DNS server unable to take that much responsibility . So servers are connected in a distributed hierarchy. DNS was created to be an open public communication protocol. Because of it openers DNS is acceptable to cyber attacks. Example of attack is DNS Spoofing. When  a hacker changing the IP address. The internet grows everyday but DNS and IP address are designed to scale no matter how much the internet grows.

The annual Gallup poll has determined the rankings since 1946.
Former President Barack Obama, President Trump, and Pope Francis took the top three slots in the 2017 poll, but Graham came in fourth.
His son, Evangelist Franklin Graham, wrote about his father's honor on Facebook.
"I'm grateful to God for the incredible platform He has given my father through these many years," he wrote.
"My father has been faithful to God's Word. He believes the Bible to be the inspired Word of God," Graham continued. "He believes in Heaven and Hell, and preached repentance from sin and that people must put their faith in Jesus Christ who took our sins to the cross, died in our place, and then God raised to life."
Franklin Graham used the post as an opportunity to share the Gospel with his followers.
"By trusting Christ, we are assured of an eternal home in Heaven," he added. "In an ever changing world, isn't it good to know that God's Word never changes—it's the same yesterday, today, and forever!"

As Deep Freeze Sets in, People Urged to Help Most Vulnerable

The post-Christmas prolonged, dangerously cold weather across half the country has advocates for the homeless scrambling to get people off the streets and local officials urging residents to assist their elderly neighbors.

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The post-Christmas prolonged, dangerously cold weather across half the country has advocates for the homeless scrambling to get people off the streets and local officials urging residents to assist their elderly neighbors.
Forecasters warned people to be wary of hypothermia and frostbite from the arctic blast has gripped a large swath from the Midwest to the Northeast, where the temperature, without the wind chill, factored in, dipped to minus 32 (minus 35 Celsius) Thursday morning in Watertown, New York. Temperatures rose to minus 7 (minus 22 Celsius) early Friday morning.
Warming centers were set up in some locations including recreation centers across Cincinnati. Boston’s Pine Street Inn sent a van with outreach workers around to persuade people to spend the night inside, but some said they prefer the streets.
Segundo Rivera and Sean Stuart told the Boston Herald they’re not comfortable spending the night in a shelter.
“We’ve lived out here so long it’s like honestly, this is comfortable for us,” Rivera said.
A shelter spokeswoman said that if people don’t want to go to a shelter, they’re given blankets, warm clothing, and a hot beverage, and informed of the dangers of extreme cold.
The Ohio Department of Aging said older people are at increased risk from such severe cold, from medication side effects to falling risks. The department encouraged people to check on family members, friends and neighbors to make sure they’re warm enough and have their needed medications and sufficient food and water.
Animal advocates also urged people to remember their pets.
In Toledo, the humane society was looking into the death of a dog found “frozen solid” on a porch, cruelty investigator Megan Brown told The Blade.
“I don’t know how long she was out there,” Brown said.
A second dog was recovered shivering inside the home. The dogs’ owner told The Blade utilities that had been shut off but he had been providing for the dogs while living elsewhere. He said he didn’t know how one dog, an American bully, got outside.
On Thursday, cold weather records were set from Arkansas to Maine, and the freezing air will linger through the weekend, reaching as far south as Texas and the Florida Panhandle.
In New Hampshire, the cold set a record for the day of minus 34 (minus 37 Celsius) atop the Northeast’s highest peak, Mount Washington.
In the Midwest, temperatures in Minneapolis aren’t expected to top zero (minus 18 Celsius) this weekend, and it likely will be in the teens (minus 11 Celsius to minus 7 Celsius) when the ball drops on New Year’s Eve in New York City.
A winter storm warning was in effect for much of Montana, calling for significant snowfall followed by dangerously cold temperatures as 2017 comes to an end.
“People like to think of themselves as being prepared for the weather and things like that,” Billings forecaster Dan Borsum said, “but this one will get your attention.”

New York City Fire Kills 12, Sends Residents Scrambling

New York City’s deadliest residential fire in decades spread through every floor of a Bronx apartment building within a matter of minutes, city officials said, killing 12 people and sending other residents scrambling outside into the cold and down fire escapes to safety.

The flames spread quickly through the kitchen, then roared through a door the boy’s mother had left open as she fled her first-floor apartment with the boy and her other child, Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro said. A stairwell acted like a chimney, carrying the flames through the entire building within minutes and blocking the main escape route.
Twelve people died, including girls ages 1, 2 and 7 and a boy whose age was not given.
“We were told the boy had a history of playing with the burners and turning them on, and before the mother knew it, this fire had gotten a good hold of the kitchen,” Nigro said.
Excluding the Sept. 11 attacks, it was the deadliest fire in the city since 87 people were killed during a social club fire in the same Bronx neighborhood in 1990.
The blaze broke out on the first floor of a five-story building just before 7 p.m. and quickly tore through the roughly century-old structure near the Bronx Zoo.
Many residents of the building, a mix of native New Yorkers and Latino and African immigrants, were able to flee via fire escapes. At least 20 people were clambering down the icy, metal escapes when firefighters arrived, Nigro said. But the flames moved so fast that many never made it out of their apartments.
About 170 firefighters worked in the bone-chilling cold, just 15 degrees, to rescue a dozen people from the building.
Thierno Diallo, 59, a security guard originally from Conakry, Guinea, who lives in a ground floor apartment said he was asleep when he heard banging on the door. It took him a moment to realize what was happening.
“Only when I heard people screaming, ‘There’s a fire in the building!’” he said. “I heard somebody, ‘Oh! Fire! Fire! Fire!’”
He ran outside in his bathrobe, jacket, and sandals.
Kenneth Kodua, 37, said he left his apartment to get food, leaving his roommate behind and came back to find people fleeing in a panic.
Hours later, he was still trying to find out whether his roommate had escaped.
“I tried calling her. I tried calling. No answer,” he said, still clutching his bag of uneaten food. His phone was dead.
Many questions remained in the immediate aftermath of the blaze, including how the fire spread so quickly in a brick building built after catastrophic fires at the turn of the 20th century ushered in an era of tougher enforcement of fire codes.
The building had more than 20 units. It was not new enough that it was required to have modern-day fireproofing, like sprinkler systems and interior steel construction.
Witnesses described seeing burned bodies being carried away on stretchers and young girls who had escaped standing barefoot outside with no coats.
Twum Bredu, 61, arrived in the neighborhood looking for his brother, who had been staying with a family in the building. The family, a husband, and wife and four children, got out. But there was no word about his brother.
“I’ve been calling his phone, it’s ringing, but nobody picks up,” Bredu said. “He was in his room, and we don’t know what happened.”
The death toll surpassed the 10 who died, including nine children, in a four-story home in another part of the Bronx in 2007. That blaze had been sparked by a space heater.

Oregon Bakers Who Refused to Make Gay Wedding Cake Lose Appeal

The Oregon Court of Appeals has ruled against Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of the Sweet Cakes by Melissa bakery who in 2013 refused to design and bake a cake celebrating a lesbian couple's same-sex wedding.

The Oregon Court of Appeals has ruled against Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of the Sweet Cakes by Melissa bakery who in 2013 refused to design and bake a cake celebrating a lesbian couple's same-sex wedding.
The Kleins felt that designing and making the cake to celebrate the 2013 same-sex wedding would violate their Christian faith.
On Thursday, however, the appeals court upheld the decision by the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries to fine the Kleins $135,000. The hefty financial penalty ultimately forced the couple to close their bakery.
"Although we accept that the Kleins imbue each wedding cake with their own aesthetic choices, they have made no showing that other people will necessarily experience any wedding cake that the Kleins create predominantly as 'expression' rather than as food," the court wrote in its opinion.
The religious rights legal group First Liberty Institute defended the Kleins before the court.
"Freedom of expression for ourselves should require freedom of expression for others. Today, the Oregon Court of Appeals decided that Aaron and Melissa Klein are not entitled to the Constitution's promises of religious liberty and free speech," First Liberty CEO Kelly Shackelford stated.
Shackelford added, "In a diverse and pluralistic society, people of goodwill should be able to peacefully coexist with different beliefs. We are disappointed that the court ruled against the Kleins."

Atlanta Street Preacher Banned from Sharing the Gospel Takes Case to Court

One Atlanta street preacher is taking Georgia authorities to court over efforts to keep him from sharing the Gospel on public sidewalks.

One Atlanta street preacher is taking Georgia authorities to court over efforts to keep him from sharing the Gospel on public sidewalks.
Evangelist Eric Love says he was banned from preaching about redemption through Jesus Christ while standing outside the Shady Beats concert last May.
Love claims the Georgia World Congress Center Authority violated his civil rights by denying him the freedom to speak on a public thoroughfare where thousands were gathered for the festival.
According to attorney Tony Mangini of the Center for Religious Expression, Mr. Love should be allowed to speak on the public sidewalks like everyone else.
Mangini, who is the attorney for Love, says this case is definitely important because it calls into question rights of free speech and religious liberty.
"Many Christians take the Great Commission seriously, and feel obliged to spread the Gospel publicly," he said.  "For Christians, communicating about your faith is one of, if not the primary method for putting your faith into practice.  Because of this, opponents of religion, and Christianity particularly, target free expression.  If they can silence religious expression, they can effectively render religion impotent and irrelevant."
In the past year, there have been numerous cases of business owners fighting to survive for following their conscience on issues like Biblical marriage, or school children who are forced to stop reading the Bible or coaches who are fired for praying with athletes.
Mangini says he sees the hostility growing against the faith.
"Christians are facing unprecedented hostility to publicly share their faith.  If cities are not shutting down speakers simply because someone else dislikes what they have to say, they are banning expressive activity outright, like the Authority here.  And in schools, students are indoctrinated with secular dogma and being refused equal treatment when they try to form a Bible club."
Though the tensions may be mounting, Mangini reminds Christians they must not be silent and they should know the law.
"People of faith can protect themselves against this assault by knowing their rights and exercising them.  The government cannot shut down speech in a truly public place, like a public park or sidewalk, just because the government or a private citizen doesn't like it.  Nor can the government ban every form of expression in such places.  If a situation arises, they can always contact us."
Meanwhile, Love is hoping the courts decide in his favor soon because he plans to be outside preaching again at the SweetWater 420 Festival next April.
The event brings thousands to Centennial Park for a mix of live music, food, and comedy.
For Love, that's a chance to preach God's love to thousands of souls longing for Jesus.

Telecommunication Technology

We have wireless communication in case of telecommunication .It started as 1G (first generation).
 1G has technology like –
NMT- NORDIC MOBILE TELEPHONY
TACS- TOTAL ACCESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
ETACS-  EUROPEAN TOTAL  ACCESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
1G uses Analog signal/Analog system. So it can not cover wide range of distance.
Then come 2G or 2nd generation which use digital signal so it can cover long distance . Here use GSM (GROUP SPECIAL MODULE) technology. It is a global system for mobile communications. It was only voice communication .Then for data access we move to 2.5G. It is called GPRS (general packet radio service). But here data rate is very low so we take 2.75G known as EDGE (ENHANCED DATA RATES FOR GSM EVOLUTION).
There total 2G, 2.5G, 2.75G all are known as 2G technology.
Now come 3G.It has used UMTS (universal mobile terrestrial/telecomm system) technology.
UMTS gives us 384kbps data rate.
GPRS= 56-64 kbps
EDGE= 170kbps
UMTS= 384 kbps
So UMTS able to make video calling.
After this we got 3.5G which have technologies like HSDPA(HIGH SPEED DOWN LINK POCKET ACCESS) and HSUPA (HIGH SPEED UP LINK POCKET ACCESS).
Next come to 3.75G = HSPA (HIGH SPEED POCKET ACCESS)
And before 4G there the technology 3.9G. there have used technology is LTE (LONG TERM EVOLUTION) known as 4GLTE
Next is 4th generation or 4G data speed 1gbps for stationary users and 100mbps for high mobility users.
Now we targetting  for 5G with speed 5gbps and we will achieved this speed in 2020. Many companies are research for this.
In some countries 2G use CDMA (CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS) and in 3G WCDMA (WIDE BAND CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS).
This is the basic concept on telecommunication

Luke Skywalker's Bionic Hand? Artificial Hand Uses Ultrasound for Individual Finger Control

It appears to be a device right out of a Star Wars movie and like the technology in the movies, it reaps the same fantastic results.
from It appears to be a device right out of a Star Wars movie and like the technology in the movies, it reaps the same fantastic results.
Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have engineered an ultrasonic sensor that allows amputees the ability to individually control each of their prosthetic fingers.
The hand also allows fine motor hand gestures that aren't possible with current devices.
The first amputee to use it is a musician who lost part of his right arm five years ago. He's now able to play the piano for the first time since his accident and can even play the Star Wars theme.
"Our prosthetic arm is powered by ultrasound signals," said Gil Weinberg, the Georgia Tech College of Design professor who leads the project. "By using this new technology, the arm can detect which fingers an amputee wants to move, even if they don't have fingers."
Jason Barnes was electrocuted in an accident at work in 2012.  His injuries were so severe that doctors were forced to remove his right arm just below the elbow.  Even though most of his limb is gone, Barnes retains the muscles that control what were his fingers.
The research team used an ultrasound machine to watch how Barnes' muscles moved. From their study, they learned each muscle for the finger moves differently. So they fed each unique movement into an algorithm in their new hand.  The device can quickly determine which finger Barnes wants to move.
"It's completely mind-blowing," said Barnes. "This new arm allows me to do whatever grip I want, on the fly, without changing modes or pressing a button. I never thought we'd be able to do this."
This is the second device the team has built for Barnes. His first love is the drums, so the team fitted him with a prosthetic arm with two drumsticks in 2014. Barnes controlled one of the sticks. The other moved on its own by listening to the music in the room and improvising.
The device gave the 28-year-old the chance to play the drums once again. The robotic stick could play faster than any drummer in the world.
The robotic stick gained worldwide attention. Barnes and Weinberg's robots have circled the globe playing in concerts across four continents. They've also played at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and Moogfest.
This success pushed the Georgia Tech professor to create a device that gives Barnes the dexterity he needs to play his instruments.
"If this type of arm can work on music, something as subtle and expressive as playing the piano, this technology can also be used for many other types of fine motor activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding," Weinberg explained. "I also envision able-bodied persons being able to remotely control robotic arms and hands by simply moving their fingers."

Record Snow and Arctic Cold Slam the Northern US

It snowed so much in Erie, Pennsylvania that even those sent to clear the roads had to be dug out.

It snowed so much in Erie, Pennsylvania that even those sent to clear the roads had to be dug out.  The more than 60 inches of snow is a new record for a city famous for its annual snowfall amounts.
Whiteout conditions forced the city to declare a snow emergency.

"It was higher than the snow blower," said resident John Pavlinko.
Traffic on Interstate 90 outside of the city was backed up for miles.  The same lake effect snow also buried Buffalo, New York.
And following the snow were sub-zero temperatures that made it dangerous to be outside.

"The girls wanted to go ice skating and we tried, but it's really cold," said Chicago area resident Callie Hill.
The record-breaking cold has already settled in from Colorado to Maine.
In Duluth, Minnesota, temperatures hit 21 degrees below zero with a wind chill of minus 44, causing steam and fog to rise from Lake Superior.
Treacherous ice and whiteout conditions sent dozens of cars spinning off highways and causing injuries.
Raul Rubalcava of Sandy, Oregon said he "lost control, did a 360, hit a car in the next lane and ended up here."
In Kansas, at least four people died after sliding off of the road
Snowfall totals in parts of the northeast could reach up to 6 feet.  Meteorologists are warning the wind chill from the record cold can cause frostbite after as little as 30 minutes of exposure.

Wind chill advisories or warnings are in effect from North Dakota and Wisconsin across the Great Lakes to New England.

Construction Temporarily Stopped at Church Destroyed on 9/11

Construction on a Greek Orthodox church to replace one that was crushed in the Sept. 11 attacks has been temporarily suspended amid rising costs and questions over how donations have been managed.
NEW YORK (AP) — Construction of a Greek Orthodox church to replace one that was crushed in the Sept. 11 attacks has been temporarily suspended amid rising costs and questions over how donations have been managed.
The St. Nicholas National Shrine next to the World Trade Center memorial plaza was to replace a tiny church obliterated when the trade center’s south tower fell in 2001. The new building was designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, who created the soaring white bird-like mall and transit hub nearby called the Oculus.
But unlike the transit hub, built largely with federal transportation dollars, the church is being funded through donations including from the Greek government, Greek Orthodox church members around the world, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and the Italian city of Bari, whose patron saint is St. Nicholas.
In September, the estimated cost was $50 million. But according to The New York Times, which first reported the work suspension, the cost had jumped to an estimated $72 million to $78 million as of this month.
Two firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers and BakerHostetler, were hired to perform an independent investigation into the construction, according to a Dec. 9 statement posted on the website of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
The stoppage was ordered by the construction company on the project, Skanska USA, the statement said.
“The archdiocese is confidently hopeful that construction will recommence in the very near future and has been assured by Skanska ... that they are looking forward to the rescinding of this temporary suspension to continue working together in cooperation with the archdiocese for the completion of the building project,” the statement read.
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, based in New York, represents more than 500 parishes across the country with more than 1.5 million members of the church and 800 priests. It reported last fall it was suffering from a “severe and complex” financial deficit.
Skanska, part of Stockholm-based Skanska AB, said it had extended payment deadlines and discussed alternatives with the archdiocese to try to keep the project going but ultimately had to halt construction.
“We regret that stopping work was the only viable option at this point in time,” Skanska USA Executive Vice President Tom Webb said in a statement Tuesday. “We are confident that they will find the funding to complete this work at some point in the future.”
The St. Nicholas shrine, meant as a salve for the faithful and a welcoming space for those wishing to reflect, was inspired by two Byzantine shrines in Istanbul, the Hagia Sophia and the Church of the Holy Savior in Chora. The building was to be sheathed in marble from quarries north of Athens, the vein of marble used to build the Parthenon.
The original St. Nicholas was far more modest. The building housed a tavern when Greek immigrants bought it in 1919 to use as a church. It was the only building not part of the trade center complex that was demolished after hijackers flew commercial jets into the towers.

'Trumpvangelicals' Take Top Spot as Religion News Story of the Year

Last year, the number one religion story of the year was the evangelical support of then-candidate Donald Trump. This year, Trump and evangelicals top the list again, but now it's more about the Trump administration's support of evangelicals.
The list of top religion stories is decided by an annual poll of journalists in the Religion News Association and reported by the Religion News Service (RNS).
"They are strongly represented in President Trump's cabinet and religious advisory board and have shaped the administration's priorities ranging from Jerusalem to the Supreme Court to interpretations of religious liberty," RNS President Manya Brachear Pashman said of evangelicals.
God and Donald Trump author Stephen Strang pointed out when it comes to evangelicals, "A large majority are still aligned with the unconventional president, thanks in part to the fulfillment of the promises he made to Christians around the country, such as strengthening religious liberties protections, appointing a conservative jurist to the Supreme Court, supporting pastors and churches, and keeping the American family a priority."
"These so-called "Trumpvangelicals" are enjoying unprecedented access to the Oval Office both through Vice President Mike Pence, a conservative Christian, and an informal advisory panel consisting almost entirely of conservative evangelical Christian leaders," Pashman said.
Also in the top 10 religion stories of the year:
  • White supremacists march in Charlottesville, Va. — Neo-Nazis carrying anti-Semitic slogans on some of their signs were resisted by several religious groups.
  • The Muslim travel ban — the Trump administration says trying to lessen the chance of terrorists entering the U.S., but some considered the so-called 'Muslim travel ban' anti-Islamic.
  • Jerusalem — Trump officially recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital, garnering much praise from many Jewish leaders and Israel-backers.  But critics blasted the decision and 128 nations in the U.N. General Assembly voted to declare Trump's action "null and void."
  • Atrocities against the Rohingya — the Buddhist majority in Myanmar persecutes its Muslim Rohingya minority and chases more than 500,000 of them out of the country.
  • Sutherland Springs church shooting — the deadliest mass shooting ever in Texas, killing 26 parishioners.
  • Judge Roy Moore's U.S. Senate run.
  • The choosing of Neil Gorsuch and other conservative judicial nominees.
  • National Football League players protesting during the playing of the National Anthem and the backlash from many NFL fans and viewers.
  • The Protest Reformation's 500th anniversary.
It didn't make the top 10, but taking the number 11 spot was the Masterpiece Cakeshop case that ended up putting the question of religious liberty once again before the U.S. Supreme Court.
As for Trump, he was anointed Religion Newsmaker of the Year, beating out Pope Francis, Martin Luther and Judge Roy Moore for the title.
Strang — himself a charismatic evangelical — pointed out many evangelicals during last year's presidential campaign opposed candidate Trump.   But a vast majority finally came around on Election Day.
"What was the alternative?" Strang asked, saying of Hillary Clinton, "She became the number one supporter of Planned Parenthood, an advocate for late-term abortions, and a proponent of same-sex marriage.   She has never had a meaningful outreach to evangelical Christians and referred to conservatives as a 'basket of deplorables.'"
The Religion News Association which compiled the Top 10 list is the largest organization of religion journalists in the U.S.

Old Man Winter Makes Its Return Just In Time for Holiday Travel

Much of the country had a White Christmas as winter storms dropped heavy snow from the Pacific Northwest to New England.
The weather outside was frightful, as snow blanketed the country from the Pacific Northwest to New England Christmas Day.

In Washington State, snow and ice caused vehicle crashes along the highways.

"People started stopping and went to check on the people in the truck and that other truck, I think it's a truck ran into that truck that is upside down," described Raul Rubalcava.

Traffic in Pennsylvania was no better as a jackknifed tractor trailer brought cars to a dead stop along I-90.
Erie International Airport recorded a record breaking 21 inches of snow on Monday.

Midwesterners were struck by below zero wind chills.
Several Midwesterners said preparation is key.

"I dress in layers as you can see. I have a hoodie on, a sweater on, a thermal on, hats, gloves," said a Milwaukee resident.
"You just prepare with your coat, your mittens, your muffs and everything you need to take care of," advised a Chicagoan.

In the Northeast, there was a scary moment for passengers aboard a JetBlue flight at Logan International Airport, as icy conditions caused the plane to slide off the runway.

"We were straight and all of sudden started fishtailing and it started getting rough," described one passenger.
"Once I realized were going off the runway I was like uh-uh," another added.

JetBlue issued a statement saying there were no injuries in that incident.

But not everyone is dreading the snow.
Children from Chicago to Wisconsin took the winter weather in strides and made the most of the snowy conditions with a little sledding.

"We thought we would kill some hours sledding out here," one said.

For the parts of the country that missed out on their White Christmas, forecasters predict the snow and ice will continue into New Year's Eve.

'Christmas is About Christ’: Franklin Graham Sets the Record Straight This Christmas

With all the surrounding controversy about whether or not to say 'Merry Christmas,' evangelist Franklin Graham is setting the record straight.
With all the surrounding controversy about whether or not to say 'Merry Christmas,' evangelist Franklin Graham is setting the record straight.
"Christmas is really about the birth of Jesus Christ and that's what we're celebrating. On Christmas we give gifts, but Christmas is about God giving -- giving his son Jesus Christ," Graham told Fox & Friends.
He also praised President Trump for "making Christmas great again" by publicly saying Jesus is the reason for the season.
"I'm so excited that the president isn't afraid to mention the name of Jesus Christ and that he boldly stands for not only Christ, but all religious freedom," he said.
Graham believes Trump's pro-faith stance comes at a time when he says Christianity is under attack.
"Christians, and we're the majority, are under attack from the secularists," he said. "There's plenty of court cases right now before the Supreme Court where people have been put out of business because they refuse to bake a cake for somebody because of their religious beliefs."
"We do have a president who does care and I think he's going to do all he can to stand with us," he added.
Graham also weighed in on his father Bill Graham, and how he's planning to spend Christmas this year.
"He's home. He's resting well. He's just old. He doesn't see well, doesn't hear very well...but his mind is still clear and I'm going down with my wife on Christmas day and we're going to have lunch with him," he said. "My father, all his life, he never veered from the calling God had on his life which was to preach the gospel -- to tell men and women about a God that loves them and is willing to forgive their sin if they're willing to repent, turn from their sin and by faith believe on the name of Jesus Christ."

Android Architecture

Android is a mobile platform consist of operating system, middle  wave and key application. If we take any electronic device which consist of two things software component and hardware component there have a middle condition between software and hardware component. It is known as an operating system (OS).
OS in an android mobile is a Linux kernel.
MAIN FUNCTIONS of OS are memory management, resource management, power management, driver (USB, pen drive etc.) management, power management.
We can develop Android apps by using Java or c/c++ or.net.
 Now days  java is the programming language in case of android system. If we want to write any program in java then we need java library. If we performing any network operation like sending data to the server there is a package called        java.net.*;      If we are writing any file reading file writing operation in Java there is a package called       java.io.*;
By using java code we cannot interact with some low level  media component. Let take an example: displaying graphics. It is not possible with java programming. Java programming language going to support of any other program language that some other program language known as NATIVE LIBRARY.
Next important component in android architecture, application framework.Android development going to easy by help of the application framework.By WIFI manager we do not need to write a huge amount of code .In android DVM takes a Java byte code as input and it is going to produce a lightweight format called .dex.

It converts from Java byte code to.dex  because java byte code is applicable for heavy weight applications like PC’s. In mobile we do not have that much memory capacity, RAM capacity, power capacity so we need a lightweight format than Java byte code that is why DVM takes a java byte code as input. It follows some comparison technique. It reduces the redundant information in the classes and it is going to produce a single file called .dex.

Woman Single-Handedly Buys Thousands of Gifts for Sick Children

One Chicago woman is proving that it doesn't take a whole lot to be a big blessing this Christmas season.
One Chicago woman is proving that it doesn't take a whole lot to be a big blessing this Christmas season.
Jessie Tendayi bought thousands of toys for sick children with money she saved from her own paycheck. Tendayi is a cafeteria worker at Advocate Trinity Hospital and worked overtime the entire year to buy more than 3000 toys totaling around $5000.
When Toys 'R' Us heard about her efforts, they kicked in an additional $5000.
Then Tendayi hosted a grand toy giveaway and distributed those gifts to the pediatric patients at Advocate Children's Hospital.
"You don't have to wait until you get rich to help others," she told ABC 7 news.
Although saving up for the gifts was hard work, Tendayi says the look in the children’s' eyes made it all worth it.
"I see their eyes like, 'wow!' When they say wow you feel like you've given hope to a child," Tendayi said.
The parents were overwhelmed with happiness too.
Terri Erickson, whose son is being treated for leukemia, was moved to tears.
"This is huge. This is huge. This means a lot for my family," Erickson said.

Trump Criticizes FBI Deputy Director as He Plans Retirement

President Donald Trump again questioned the impartiality of the deputy director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, who is planning to retire from the bureau in the months ahead after being buffeted by attacks over alleged anti-Trump bias in the agency. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - President Donald Trump again questioned the impartiality of the deputy director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, who is planning to retire from the bureau in the months ahead after being buffeted by attacks over alleged anti-Trump bias in the agency.

In a tweet Saturday, the president wrote: "How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin' James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife's campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?"

McCabe spent hours behind closed doors on Capitol Hill this week being grilled by lawmakers on two separate committees as part of a new investigation of the FBI and its 2016 inquiry into Clinton's email practices when she was secretary of state. His role supervising the email investigation has come under renewed scrutiny.

McCabe's wife, Jill, received $700,000 in donations from Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe's political action committee and the Virginia Democratic Party for a state Senate race in 2015. The money was donated before McCabe was promoted to deputy director and assumed a supervisory role in the Clinton email investigation. McAuliffe is a longtime supporter of Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

McCabe became acting FBI director last May after Trump fired Comey, who was overseeing the bureau's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Trump maintains there was no collusion between his campaign and the Russian government, and has blasted the investigation as a "witch hunt."

From his South Florida home, where he is spending the holidays, Trump also tweeted that McCabe "is racing the clock to retire with full benefits. 90 days to go?!!!"

McCabe plans to retire in about 90 days, when he becomes fully eligible for pension benefits, The Washington Post reported Saturday, citing people familiar with the situation. Trump and his Republican allies have made it clear that they want McCabe out of the FBI. But McCabe is a civil service employee who cannot be fired without clear evidence of wrongdoing.

McCabe was among the candidates Trump interviewed for the FBI director's job after he dismissed Comey. He also has been a focus of Trump's ire for some time.

Trump originally tweeted about McCabe's wife's campaign in July, inaccurately describing the campaign donation as coming from Clinton: "Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!"

In a second tweet that month, the president asked "why didn't A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation," referring to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

The FBI declined to comment on reports about retirement by McCabe, who was summoned to Capitol Hill this week and grilled for hours by two congressional committees.

Republicans charge that an anti-Trump bias exists in the bureau's ranks, citing the campaign donations to McCabe's wife and, more recently, the release of hundreds of text messages between FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page. Strzok and Page used words like "idiot" and "loathsome human" to describe Trump during the campaign.

Strzok was removed the team of special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the Russia investigation, over the summer after the text messages surfaced.

Democrats accuse the GOP of diversionary tactics and say their criticism could embolden Trump to take steps to fire Mueller.

Trump said earlier this week that he's not considering firing Mueller.

Tennessee McDonald’s Honors The True Meaning Of Christmas With Jesus-Centered Nativity Scene

It is not every day you see the biggest fast food chain in the world boldly declaring the name of Jesus. One Tennessee McDonald’s refused use their window-displayed nativity scene to shift more Big Mac’s – instead choosing to honor the true “reason for the season.”

It is not every day you see the biggest fast food chain in the world boldly declaring the name of Jesus. One Tennessee McDonald’s refused use their window-displayed nativity scene to shift more Big Mac’s – instead choosing to honor the true “reason for the season.”
The Spring Hill branch flanked their massive nativity scene with signs that read “Rejoice” and “His Name is Jesus.” Christian blogger Amy Klutinoty spotted the sign as she was driving past. Amy founded “Your Path His Plan,” a ministry seeking to encourage others in their walk with the Lord. As she explains on her website:
“God has truly done a quick work in me, and I am humbled and walk in complete reverence to the calling He has placed upon my life. I know what God saved me from, and because I have been forgiven much, I love much.
The entire purpose of my ministry is to reach a hurt, desolate, and hopeless world so I can share the Gospel, love, and POWER of Jesus Christ through boldness and Truth! The King of Kings, my Savior, makes ALL things new, and it is never too late for Him to turn your life around for His glory!”
